Château des Milandes
3 minutes by car and 20 minutes on foot from’Les Pastourels’ campsite
For all ages
20 minutes on foot from ‘Les Pastourels’ campsite, Chateau des Milandes tells of the life of Josephine Baker, celebrated Franco-American singer, who lived there during the Fifties. It is very interesting to see what represented luxury in the middle of the last century.
Children will be fascinated by the Falconry display (a high quality display – attention: in French only)
Or advice: Take the path opposite ‘les Pastourels’ campsite (PR13) and follow the yellow signs as far as the Chateau Milandes (not suitable for pushchairs) (this descends on going so obviously ascends on the return journey, avoid it in full heat, there is little shade).
Château de Beynac

Perched on an enormous rock, the Chateau of Beynac was constructed over several centuries. You will be able to cross the different centuries during your visit. You will be able to cross the different centuries during your visit. You will be able to admire the valley of the 5 chateaux from its tower.
