With almost 150 km of navigable waterways, the Dordogne river crosses the southern Périgord with majesty.
At 3km from the campsite located in the Dordogne valley with our partner, you will be able to do different courses ideal for canoeing in the Dordogne.

  • The small descent, the initiation course of 4km.
A short hour. On the programme is the view of the Château de Fayrac, and the passage under the Château de Beynac, which marks the sublime point of our courses.
  • A 12km course starting from Cénac, where you will feel like you are in a movie set…
You will make a descent where the most beautiful villages huddled against their cliffs such as La Roque-Gageac, the castles of the Middle Ages standing guard will make this an unforgettable experience.
  • La vallée aux 5 châteaux et 4 plus beaux villages de France route of 16km.
Starting from Vitrac and its rock, the bastide of Domme and La Roque-Gageac built between cliff and river (two of the most beautiful villages in France), the castles of Castelnaud-La-Chapelle and Marqueyssac, the one of Fayrac and to finish your descent the famous castle of Beynac.

But the Dordogne also offers the possibility to travel on other rivers, including the Vézère!
Along the way and at your own pace, you can admire the prehistoric valley, the castles of Losse and Belcayre, the troglodytic villages of La Roque Saint-Christophe and La Madeleine, and the prehistoric shelters. The Vézère can be discovered at its own pace, from Montignac to Limeuil, considered one of the most beautiful French villages. You will also pass through Les Eyzies de Tayac, the world capital of prehistory.

Discover the Dordogne Valley from the air

Flying over the valley of 1001 castles and the villages of the Périgord at sunrise or sunset is a magical experience offered to you via a hot air balloon flight.
You can also admire their flight while sipping a drink on the terrace of our bar as they pass over the campsite several times a week.

Sail with the traditional and typical boats of the south-west

The gabarre is the ideal boat to sail peacefully on the Dordogne.

Both departures are less than 10 minutes drive from the campsite.
