Activities for all
During your stay, young and old alike will find plenty to do on site:
- A heated swimming pool and a paddling pool open from June 15 to September 15, 2026
- A playground for children (slide, swing)
- A petanque field
- Ping-pong table
- A playground (badminton, ball…)
- A library with board games on loan
- From the campsite: hiking trails to discover the Périgord Noir
On the entertainment side : from July 12, 2026 to August 23, 2026
Every week we organize :
- a morning hike open to the whole family.
- Archery activity in the campsite.
- Circus activity for children and adults
- A paella evening or food-truck with local specialities
- A concert evening with a musical group.
The schedule of activities will be updated weekly at the reception.

With our partner, we organise a canoe trip once a week :
- Bus from the campsite to the Dordogne and back
- Visit of the village of La Roque Gageac, Cenac, …
- During your descent of the river, you will be able to admire the castles of Montfort, Castelnaud La Chapelle, Beynac and admire the villages of Cenac, La Roque-Gageac.
Reservations will be made at reception on the day of your arrival.
3-star services
During high season, reception is open every day from 8.30am to 12pm and from 3.30pm to 7pm.
In low season, reception is open from 8.30am to 10am and from 5pm to 6.30pm.
You will find a snack bar, ice creams and drinks on site. The snack bar is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 4:00 pm to 10 pm.
Guests can enjoy freshly baked breads and pastries every morning, and make a reservation the night before.
We offer several services for rent: bed linen and towels, cot and high chair, fridge, end of stay cleaning…
Charcoal barbecues are forbidden on the entire campsite because of the risk of fire.
Electric barbecues are also prohibited (lack of electrical power)
Gas planchas are available for hire at the reception.

What activities are available at Domaine Les Pastourels?
The campsite offers a variety of activities for the whole family, including a heated swimming pool with a paddling pool, a children’s playground, a pétanque court, table tennis tables, an area for badminton and ball games, as well as a library with books and board games available to borrow.
Are entertainment activities organised during the summer?
Yes, throughout the summer season, Domaine Les Pastourels organises weekly activities in a friendly atmosphere, including guided hikes, introductory archery sessions, circus workshops, meals featuring local specialities and live music evenings. The weekly programme is displayed at the reception.
Does the campsite offer canoe excursions?
Yes, in partnership with a local provider, a canoe trip is organised every week during the scheduled period. Bus transport from the campsite is included, and the route takes you along the Dordogne River past several picturesque villages and famous castles.
What services are available during my stay?
The campsite offers a snack bar, drinks, ice creams, as well as a daily bread and pastry service with freshly baked products. Guests can also rent a range of equipment, including bed linen, towels, baby equipment, refrigerators and an end-of-stay cleaning service.
Does the campsite provide Wi-Fi?
No. Domaine Les Pastourels has deliberately chosen not to provide Wi-Fi in order to encourage guests to truly disconnect and enjoy nature. However, 4G mobile coverage is available throughout the campsite for essential connectivity.
Can I use a barbecue at the campsite?
Charcoal and electric barbecues are not permitted for safety and fire prevention reasons. However, gas planchas are available to rent at the campsite reception.
Is Domaine Les Pastourels suitable for families with children?
Yes, the campsite offers several family-friendly facilities, including a playground, a paddling pool, activities suitable for different age groups and leisure areas accessible to everyone. Its peaceful natural setting also makes it ideal for relaxing family holidays.
Can I go hiking directly from the campsite?
Yes, several hiking trails start directly from Domaine Les Pastourels. They allow you to discover the beautiful landscapes of the Périgord Noir on foot without needing to use your car.
Do I need to book the campsite activities?
Some activities, especially the canoe excursions organised with a local partner, require advance booking at reception upon arrival. Other activities are scheduled weekly, and the programme is displayed on site.
