Perigord gastronomy What if luxury was nature?

Discover Perigord gastronomy

The Dordogne is a destination for good living and good eating (the leading French department for short-distance sales and agritourism) thanks to its excellent products (strawberries, ceps, truffles, foie gras, caviar, walnuts and walnut oil, etc.), which are all enhanced by our chefs. Authenticity and (food) safety are part of our DNA and our commitment to you!

You love truffles or duck? It’s time to discover the Périgord and its gastronomic specialities, as tasty as they are varied. The specialities of the Périgord (cepe, chestnut, foie gras, strawberry, walnut, truffles, wines) are also the pride of our region. You can taste them by strolling through the markets which animate our villages.

The largest of the traditional open-air markets is that of Sarlat. Succumb to local products all year round in an exceptional setting! To find it, head for the medieval town on Wednesday mornings and Saturdays all day.
